Craft Night

We decided that we all wanted to get together and have craft night on Saturday's. My mom , sister's and I all pick out a project that we all want to do, we get together and work on our project, have snacks and just kind of hang out together. It's a lot of fun! Here is the last project we pickedIts a pretty little table covering for the spring. It was made out of felt and then we hand sewed the flowers and little lady bugs on it. Here is the first night we worked on it.

It took us 3 Saturdays to all finish, but it turned out AWESOME! It was so neat to see how different every ones turned out. Every ones project showed the different personalities in each one of us.
Here is Mom's (primitive colors)

Kim's (has the Chocolate/Teal/Blue colors)

Gina's (The Daisy and Denim Look)

and Mine (The Spring Cheery Colors)

And here they are all together! I loved this project!

If you look back in the picture of Mom's you will see the next project we chose. The pretty fabric flowers in the vase. I can't wait to see how they turn out!
Keep watching to see what we do next and don't forget girls bring your ipods because they are bringing family together through music!

Some New LO's to Share

I'm sitting here waiting for my dryer to finish and AJ's teacher to come, but what I really want to be doing is sleeping! I slept horrible last night! I tossed and turned like crazy. I guess it doesn't help that I was up till after 1am loading my new ipod. While waiting for some of my CD's to upload to my itunes I finished a couple of pages.

First up is of Me, My mom, and my boys at their First Holy Communion.

The next one required a little bit of creativity and a new skill, blending. This was a tough one for me I have never done anything quite like it, but I tried and here is my next one

( Credits: Lauren Grier's "Take Me Dancing", " She Loves to Dance" and also her new layered circle templates all available at SSD)

and last but no least here is my last one for the moment. It was for the Ad Challenge and here it is

Here's my little buddy all dressed up for his very first St. Patty's Day!

Maybe there will be more later, who knows. I really need to work on laundry, but there is always something more fun to do! Sometimes it really stinks to be an adult!

What a Day!

We made it through today! AJ was a real trooper! For the most part the test went well. They found some things in his lower stomach that they want to biopsy before getting us concerned. So now we have to wait a week for the results. So please pray that everything is fine :) Not that AJ needs anything to help him be goofy but they gave him "Silly Juice" to sedate him before the test and man did that make him loopy. After the procedure he had a little difficulty with coming back out of the anaesthesia he had a really bad headache and I guess was thrashing a lot before he came to.
I got a few pages done. I have been trying to keep up with the challenges at SSD, but its been hard with all of our trips to children's this month. so here are my two latest

Well I have to work way too early in the AM so I better get to bed! Hopefully I will get some more done over the weekend! Goodnight!

Chocolate or Vanilla?

You Are Vanilla

You are a delightful, friendly person. You are optimistic about life and people.

You are enthusiastic and energetic. You enjoy everything you do.

You are cooperative and flexible. You get along with people from many walks of life.

You're not a show off. Instead, you're more likely to help other people shine.

I really don't have much to show right now, I have been having a heck of a time getting anything finished. I have a bunch started. I know, get to work. I will try, but in my defense Grey's Anatomy is on tonight and so is ER, but I can try! :)

YUM!

For the FOBTY Challenge we have to tell what our favorite Girl Scout Cookie is. Hands Down mine is the Samoa! Who can resist caramel, coconut, and chocolate in a cookie, not me! Fortunately I have not come across anyone selling them this year, for i have a hard time just eating one or two!

The only thing I really have to show today is a mousepad I did, it started out as being for my son but I think its mine now. so here you go

I hate pictures of me, so its amazing I actually found this many of me and the boys.

Well of to bed, I think.

Something to Show

Well I have a few things to show off today. Not as much as I have wanted to do but hey, what can I say? The boy's made their First Holy Communion Sunday and it was very nice. Hopefully more pictures will come soon of that. But the first thing I have to show is what a want to put on a round mouse pad from Artscow. I think it will be neat.

next is a LO of my Rock Star Princess! To be four years old again with no inhibitions and great big dreams! so here you go Rock ON!

Tomorrow is another Children's Hospital day for AJ. He has to have a pulmonary function test. They are going to put him on a tread mill and such. Then Friday is his scope. So please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks A Lot!

Whats in a Name?

The journaling challenge this week at SSD was all about names and what they mean and why we chose them. I chose to do my youngest son Allan which means handsome, cheerful, and harmonious. He is all of these things (well most of the time) and the funny thing is that Allan was not even the name he was supposed to have. I really enjoyed doing this challenge and think I will have to do one for Nathan too, especially since they came home the other day from Communion class and wanted me to tell them how we chose their names.
Sunday is their First Holy Communion. I am pretty excited about it. I remember mine like it was yesterday. I will have to show pictures afterwards.
Well I think I am off to go lounge lizard a little bit. I feel extremely tired today, but am not quite ready for bed. Have a great night.

Little Engineer

Some days it makes me sad that my boys are so grown up! Like when I scrap pictures of my niece and nephew. But when Nate and AJ were little digital camera's were just coming out and Digi Scrappin was unheard of. I would love to go back and scrap some of their old pictures but sadly I just don't have that many of them. So while I love doing LO's of Emmie and Vinny, sometimes it makes me a little sad. I still do some of the boys, but they hide from the camera or they just don't do much to take pictures of. Anyway, I did another LO of my buddy. He came to see me again today while his mommy and daddy went to see a movie. I enjoyed him very much! I love having him here! I couldn't help myself his little train outfit was SO cute!

Handsome

Not that he heeds a hoodie to tell him, cause we already know it, but his hoodie says Handsome! Aunt Kimber bought it for him. He is growing so very fast
Today is spelling test day here at Homebound School. This is AJ's absolutely worst subject ever. He has been studying so hard so I hope he does well.

Meet the Fish!

Meet the new fishies!!! The blue one is Sid (after Sidney Crosby), the Yellow one is Gonchar, and the Orange one is Luna. They are all Cichlids so they are an aggressive fish, but they have great personality. Right now Sid is king of the rock, no one gets in it let alone near it. Of course taking pictures of them is nearly impossible they wont stay still (imagine that)

I will try once they get settled in for better pictures. Right now they are exploring their new home and being chased by Sid.

Oh and Geno seems to be very curious about our new swimming roommates! He climbed up to see them and they swam over to see him. It was really funny!

Catch Up

I finished up a few pages today while AJ was with his teacher. I have been falling a little behind lately, but in my own defense my Internet has been really crappy lately. I guess somehow we corrupted our wireless router. All is well now, My wonderful hubby fixed it. So here is what we have done.

And that's about it for now. My Hubby Put up our fish tank so later this evening we are off to find fish for in it. I'm pretty excited! I will show you our new friends later.

Look who came to visit!

Look how handsome he is in his little blue hoodie that spells it out for those that might have missed it (though I don't know how) Aunt Kimber picked out this cute little thing for Mr. Vinny long before he got here. What an adorable little guy. He didn't stay long though, but I stole a few quick snapshots.

They say I'm cute!

For the first FOBTY challenge this month We got to find out what the flowers we picked say about us. Now Lily's are one of my favorite flowers so I picked them and here is what they say
A Lily Says You're Very Enticing
You are playful, flirty, and friendly.
You can easily light up a room... or someone's heart.

Your unique personality attracts a lot of attention!
Your cute ways get you in trouble. People can't help but be a little jealous of you.

Pretty cool huh? Now see what your favorites say about you.

March????

Can you believe another month has come and gone. Before you know it spring will be here and the snow will be gone! Yippee! I know the boys are itching to get out and try their new bikes out. I cant say I blame them this cold is getting old. Today I did my February in review scrapbook page. So here we have it

(Credits: Melissa Bennett's "Smooches" kit available at SSD)

Today AJ started his homebound schooling. So far not too much work, but we will see as it progresses. I hope this helps him out.

I know Im cruel, but I was running out of pictures to scrapbook! Someday he might like to see these, you never know.

Well unlike some people I know my dryer is not broken, so i suppose I cant use that as an excuse not to do laundry. So off to do my never ending chore.

Mardi Gras Birthday Girl

So, here are a couple pages I did from Emmie's Mardi Gras Birthday.

(Credits: "The French Quarter" by Traci Reed)

Right now I'm feeling pretty crappy. I'm crampy and didn't sleep well. I think I'm gonna lay back down and try waking up again.
