Tricks or Treats??

Happy Halloween All! Today since all the kids where off of school we all hung out here at my house and put together a little spooky Halloween dinner for the family.

We started off making crazy eyeball chocolate pretzel treats. Emberly was in charge of the white chocolate disks and the sprinkles. Cute and Yummy :)
Aunt Kimber brought some super delicious Pumpkin Strussel cake that Nate described as "heaven in his mouth" She is so creative isn't she!
Then we had an infestation of spiders! YUCK! Not to worry though Vinnie took care of them and ate them up! (What kind of two year old eats black olives??)And for the sweet tooth in us all we had Halloween Oreo Cheesecakes decorated with cute wrappers from my brand new Silhouette SD :)OH NO!!! The spiders are in the bean dip too!!!! Even the non bean lover mom enjoyed this dip!And to go with our Pizza we had some moldy Parmesan "Bone" bread sticks (Mom like these too!) And you cant have a Halloween dinner without the Mummy Dog Crescent Dogs! They where pretty tasty if I do say so myself!

And that's about it. Good Fun Food and Family! Couldn't have asked for a better night! Happy Halloween Guys! I love you all!!!! Thanks for the nice evening.

I was so sad when it died and so happy when Gina told me it might be covered under warranty :) I couldnt wait to try it out! The $10 download card that came with it was awesome too. Here are two of the new things I picked out with my card.
First my little turkey bag. Im sure you could fill him with some little candies and such

and also my spider web box. I have to say I am supper impressed with how it cuts the small stuff now! I dont even have to help it much :) Im just super tickled to have it back! Yay! Thanks again Mommy! and thanks Gina for figuring out it wasn't gone forever :)

Cute Pumpkin

I found this on Pintrest today and thought it was fabulous!

Fall Formal 2011

Fall Formal was last night and the boys looked so handsome and grown up! They both had very sweet beautiful girls that they took. Both of them said they had an awesome time! That's what mom's like to hear

Here is AJ and his friend Crystal.... The florist messed up with her original flowers and sent pink to go with her dress, but we took them back and had them fix it.
Another of AJ and Crystal. She was just tickled because these where the first flowers anyone had ever given her.

Then there was Nate and his date Ashly. Ashly was running a bit late so we didn't get too many pictures of the two of them and the ones I do have are in the dark.

They all looked fabulous and had a great time. I'm sure they made memories that they will have forever....especially Nate :)

Kid friendly projects

I know Halloween isn't even here yet and here I am looking up Christmas crafts. Actually I didn't go looking for them they just kind of found me.
This first one is pretty neat and so something the kids could do (Well maybe not Vinnie, but he could try) You wrap string with stiffener around a water balloon. These would make fabulous ornaments or look really great in a big glass container as decoration. This one is done smaller only it is done on a parchment wrapped styrofoam cone and wrapped in raffia (I didn't know they made colored raffia) Anyway another thing I think the kiddos could do.

This one instantly made me think of Emberly! Snowflakes made out of noodles! OSIM! I think these would look really cool tied on to packages as ornaments or even strung together as garland.

That's all for now! I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for new exciting stuff.
