Firecracker!

I can't believe how fast time is flying! Next weekend is the 4th of July! WOW! It seems like just yesterday Vinny was born and now he is just a few days shy six months old. I think Bessy needs to bring him over and see his favorite auntie more :) (hint hint) So I had this amazing new kit to play with, along with some new amazing photos aunt Gina took of this adorable little guy and well here is what you get!

my long crazy week is coming to an end! (not soon enough) and that makes me happy! But sadly so is our visit with Jess. I really wished she lived closer it would make visiting so much easier especially with her having band camp this summer! But she will be back in July and we are already looking forward to that.
Nate has his very first ever All Star game coming up on the 6th and I cant wait to get some picture of my All Star! I will show them off when I get them!
And well I think I am off to bed! Its been kind of a long day and I need my beauty sleep, so goodnight all!

Puppy Power!!!!

Since Kimmy went away for the week, we decided to go check in on our Uncle Mike and the puppy doggy's It was really a hot day and Gus kept trying to splash his water from his dish onto himself to cool off. Mike drug out his plastic swimming pool and well as they say the rest is history! Check it out!

Remington would not get into the pool so Mike tried to help him along!

Gus LOVED his time in his pool he was so upset when Mike dumped the water out so he could dry off before it was time to go in for the night! And Well the real reason we visited with Uncle Mike tonight was so the kiddos could cool off! I think really they were just trying to drowned each other!!!

Argh!

I know Vinny is now almost six moths old and here I am scrapbooking his shower! Well you see I got this new Pirate Kit from Penny called "Argh!" and since Becca's shower had a pirate like theme tada! anyway here is my latest page!
It's been pretty blah here! Nothing too exciting going on. I have to work like everyday but today since Kim is on vacation, but so be it. At least I got the two 12 hour days in a row out of the way the rest should be easy!
Nate is having a Scrimmage game on Tuesday and a makeup game on Thursday and that should conclude the regular season for the year, then on to all stars! Yippee
Well I guess I shall be off for now must work on the never ending laundry pile of doom!

It's a Baseball night in Worthington!

It was a beautiful day for a baseball game! Guess what? WE WON!!! 12 to 1! I didn't get to take a whole lot of pictures tonight because it was so windy I was afraid to get dust in the lens and well when you have to sell off your first born for the lens to begin with, well its better to be safe than sorry. So here are a few of my favorites from tonight's game

Here are your 2009 Worthington Red Sox! They are a bunch of crazy kids!

Blake sliding into home! He's SAFE!

Coach Shaner warning Nate about stepping out!

Kyle hitting it out there!

First point of the day!

Ive been trying to scrapbook but again my creative mojo is on vacation! Its either that or Facebook has taken over my brain! Which is likely! Between catching up with old friends and harvesting my crops I just cant seem to get any scrapping done!

Well I suppose its getting late I think I shall try and get some well needed shut eye! After I feed my very persistent cat!

May in Review

Just a quick post with my latest page. My month in review page for the month of May. I can't believe its almost the middle of June already boy does time fly! AJ made it home (well to his Dad's ) safely from Burn Camp! I can't wait to see him and hear all about his trip! Nate had an awesome hit and then lost his contact somewhere in right field! All in all most things are good here. I haven't scrapped too much I have been overtaken by aliens and they make me spend all my spare time on facebook playing in my Farmtown! I may need an intervention! In fact I think its time to harvest my crops! Good night all and Enjoy!

Sunshine and Sandcastles Burn Camp 2009

For those of you who might not know AJ,my son, was burned pretty badly when he was much younger. He and his brother where playing outside in the sand box on a nice day much like today (in fact it was the beginning of June eleven years ago) when I decided it was time for baths. We climbed the stairs and in the split second that it took me to walk the five feet to their dresser to get out their pj's my older son (only two at the time) turned the bathtub on. We had just moved to the house and didn't realize how hot the water was set. AJ who loved baths climbed in diaper and all and was instantly scalded. It was the most horrible thing a mother could want to see. He was covered almost 64% of his body with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. We spent the next month in West Penn Burn Trauma Center where they took amazing care of both him and me (I stayed the entire stay with him) which brings me to my post today. AJ has since healed amazingly! really amazingly! Today is his fourth year attending Burn Camp through West Penn. It is an amazing opportunity to spend some time with other kids like him who have in some way or another been burned and helps them deal with the healing both physical and emotional. I always wondered if when the time came and he got older if I would allow him to attend, not because I didn't want him too, but because he was so young at the time of his accident I didn't think he would have the same feelings as some of the other kids. But it has been a wonderful experience and I am thankful they offer such a wonderful opportunity for these kids. So today I want to share a few pictures with you of AJ today getting ready to head of to Burn Camp. eating Pizza before they head of to Kennywood! What a way to start off camp!
Waiting to load the bus!
his buddy Nathan who he met his second year going!
Card games while waiting for the bus
traveling in style!

He's a Happy Camper!!!
