30 Days of Thanks - Day 12

Day 12

Today I am incredibly thankful that my son is starting to get better!

After going to the Doctor everyday since Tuesday with little to no improvement Nate was admitted to ACMH for IV Antibiotics, IV Steroids and continuous Albuteral treatments every two hours. He is finally starting to perk up and feel a little bit better and that means all the world to me! It makes me so sad when any of my kiddos are sick! I feel so helpless. So today I am thankful for the little things....Just seeing him smile is an improvement!

Day 11

Today is Veteran's Day and I am so Thankful for the men and women who risk their lives to protect me and my family.


I am so Thankful for every soldier in every branch of the service who has given up so much to protect this wonderful country of ours. To make sure that when we all go to sleep at night that we are safe. So today I say Thank you to My Grandfathers, my Uncles, my Cousins, my Nephew, and my Sister and to every other Soldier.

Day 10

Today I am Thankful for the Doctors that take care of my kids.

It's so hard to see your kiddo not feeling at their best! When they are sick it helps to know that they have good people looking out for whats best for them. Right now It makes me sad to see Nate so miserable but I have to trust that the doctors taking care of him are going to help make him better. I can only imagine what would happen to him if we didn't have the ability to get him the help and the medicines he needs.

Day 9

Today I am thankful for my nephew Vinnie!

This little bundle of energy is so amazing! He has such a fun personality for a two year old coming up with things like "Unkie Monkie" and Telling me I'm Nuts when I tell him hes making me crazy! I love having him to hang out with on Mondays! His little smile just melts my heart! Ya Ya Loves her little Buddy!!!

Day 8

Today I am Thankful for my beautiful niece Emberly

Emberly is such a sweet loving little girl with so much spunk! I enjoy getting to spend time with her (especially when she does an awesome job painting my toe nails....hint hint) and I enjoy watching her enjoy being young and carefree. She is a beautiful girl with a big heart full of love!

An Animal Cell made of......

Nate made a model of an Animal Cell for Mrs. Hobaugh's Biology Class made with cake and candy. Check out the little tags made on his mommy's Silhouette SD machine.


Hopefully his group will score well, if nothing else they can eat cake!
