More Snow and a Happy Birthday!

Today is my hubby's 38th birthday! He is old as dirt! I got him his favorite, ice cream cake from Dairy Queen! I also got him blu-ray dvd player that he has been wanting for a long time.

I swear it hasn't stopped snowing in over a week! It is beautiful though! It is so fluffy looking and pristine. Today my photo comes from a bush along the side of my fence. It always looks so beautiful.

Today my photo is of the snowflake I stayed up all night crocheting, just so I could have a picture of it. Today I had a wonderful time shopping with my mom and dad. It is not often that I get out with them, but I love it when I do. Of course it was snowing like mad but hey that doesn't even phase my dad, he has 4 wheel drive! He is awesome! We were on a mission to find my hubby the perfect birthday gift for tomorrow. I ended up getting him the blue-ray player he has been drooling over for years. Of course I couldn't wait till tomorrow and hubby is happily in the living room as we speak watching "Star Trek" It looks like I did good.

Happy New Year 2010

I am hoping to give this Project 365 thing a try this year. I don't know if I will stick with it but I want to give it a good shot. (I am still working on my Christmas album by the way) So here is today's picture. Your probably thinking what the heck? Right? Well, tomorrow Alan and I are going to his Mom's for their Christmas get together and I wanted to make some snowflake ornaments for on their gifts. So that is why I took a picture of my thread. I would have taken a pic of the ornament however it is in it's drying stage right now. Maybe when it done I will.
